The Harold and helene May family Foundation
Celsinus Partners assists the May family in managing their foundation. In 1974, Harold joined the company his father founded, the May Manufacturing Company. In 1987 he was named President and CEO, overseeing two decades of transformative growth into national and global markets. Harold led the company until its sale in 2007.
Established in 2005, the Harold and Helene May Family Foundation was created to continue the May’s legacy of philanthropy and community support. Long-time advocates for opportunity through education, the Foundation invests locally in education projects in the Minneapolis/St. Paul area and globally in efforts to expand access to education for women and girls.
Today, the foundation is led by third generation family members with the assistance of independent directors.
